Krista Blomberg is a New York–based fashion design director, filmmaker, and actor. Her career spans design and leadership roles at Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger, as well as her work as a Special Fashions designer on Whit Stillman’s Damsels in Distress, a Sony Pictures Classics release starring Greta Gerwig.

Her 2024 debut short film, Agnes, Beauty is a Painted Hell, is a Depression-era psychological thriller that merges her fashion expertise with a haunting story of a struggling designer. The atmospheric film blends archival costumes, custom silhouettes, and vivid production design. Key collaborators include Emmy-nominated sound editor Tom Ryan, whose credits include Hereditary, colorist Marika Litz, whose credits include Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, and actor Gail Cronauer, who appears in The Vast of Night.
